a sucky poem i wrote
How unfortunate, she mused
In the most secret part
Of her mind
She watched him laugh
She studied his lips
To feel their warmth
On her own
To slide her delicate hand
In his own
How unfortunate, she said aloud
She reached out and carressed
His chestnut hair
To love and be loved
By this beautiful man
Who did not even sense
Her silent presence
How unfortunate, she sighed
As she took one last look
At the heavenly mortal
And returned to her perch in the sky
In the most secret part
Of her mind
She watched him laugh
She studied his lips
To feel their warmth
On her own
To slide her delicate hand
In his own
How unfortunate, she said aloud
She reached out and carressed
His chestnut hair
To love and be loved
By this beautiful man
Who did not even sense
Her silent presence
How unfortunate, she sighed
As she took one last look
At the heavenly mortal
And returned to her perch in the sky
